Uncertain patrikios, 11th century. Seal (Lead, 24 mm, 6.90 g, 12 h). Θ / ΘЄ/O-... Nimbate facing bust of Saint Theodore, holding a spear over his right shoulder, and resting a shield on his left arm. Rev. Arabic legend starting بلله ('by God') and ending بتق ('patrikios') in four lines. A highly interesting bilingual seal. Some flatness and a minor crack along the channel on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
